Chanderi Cotton/ Silk Weaves-Originating around the 13th century, Chanderi weaving flourished under royal patronage. Known for a delicate blend, Chanderi uses a cotton weft and silk warp to create a luxurious, airy texture. It is famously known for its “one-pick” work, where motifs are woven with gold, silver, or copper threads, making them lightweight. Traditional motifs are often inspired by nature, including blooming flowers, vines, and geometric patterns, meticulously woven into the fabric.
